Role: Data Analyst
Number of hours: 10 hrs/week (Part-time)
Job duration: 3 months minimum
Schedule: EST New York, Flexible hours
Tasks required:
Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
Structure large data sets to find usable information
Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
Create Powerpoint presentations and reports to communicate models/analysis
Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Compile and analyze statistical data
Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or any relevant role is required
Basic financial literacy is a must
Strong computer skills and knowledge of databases and applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to set and meet deadlines
Ability to work in high-pressure situations
Experience with statistical software (Excel, etc.)
Reporting and data visualization skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
