Data Analyst role has day-to-day responsibility for processing media analysis data. It includes querying data in GSuite, Business Objects and Microsoft Excel; generating charts and tables in Excel to present key data in data template and analysis reports; assisting media analysts in understanding and accessing data; and maintaining data sheets. This work is carried out for projects for the ANZ and South-East Asia Insights units.
Job Description:
Ensures data analysis is completed to a high standard of quality and to deadline
Completes data processing using programs e.g. G-Sheet and Microsoft Excel for all teams as required.
Delivers high quality data in report templates.
Meets the prescribed deadlines.
Is responsive to requests for data from Media Analysts.
Maintains Google Coding Sheets.
Conducts thorough data checks in line with Quality Control processes, uses the correct templates for presentation of data
Is willing to investigate and implement new options for data display
Understands and follows the Data Analysis Workflow.
Provides feedback on any necessary rework to Media Analysts and Insights Managers.
Embraces opportunities to customize data display to answer client questions.
Is consistently productive and willing to work hard
Completes data run for a high number qualitative reports without sacrificing quality
Monitors and actions the data request inbox throughout the day (bookings, allocations, data queries, requests for assistance etc.)
Works efficiently under pressure
Is flexible, and ensures work is prioritised appropriately, according to client deadline
Proactively seeks more efficient processes in order to increase capacity
Completes all reports in required timeframe and demonstrates ability to take on additional reports
Assists others with workload when required

Provides excellent customer service to all Insights team members
Builds strong relationships with Insights team members

Supports Insights team by being flexible and by providing customised solutions where required
Contribute to team projects and product development teams (where applicable)
Act as a subject matter expert in all kinds of Analysis templates, troubleshooting problems with Insights team members and sharing knowledge
Connect with Insights and wider business on Salesforce Chatter
Share information and knowledge with the wider team
Collaborate to improve Insights products and processes
Demonstrates effective teamwork skills
Liaise with other Data Analysts to ensure work is appropriately prioritised and completed to deadline
Help other Data Analysts with projects where required
Use a range of communication channels (Skype, email, phone, etc.) to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Data Analysts
Proactively share knowledge and resources with other Data Analysts, and Data Production Manager
Effectively manage the data request inbox
Collaborate with team members to improve Data Analysis processes
Proactively suggest improvements to data display to ensure Insights products are presented to an industry best practice standard
Proactive participation in team meetings
Job Qualifications:
Graduate in Communications Research, Mass Communications, Research, Statistics, Visual Communications, Communications Design, or any equivalent.
1-2 years of work experience as a researcher, analyst, or data visualizer OR a fresh graduate with the above-stated capabilities.
Professional command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (preferably with a working knowledge in using Power Pivot and Power BI), including Google Suite applications.
Strong analytical and data management skills.
Strong interest in research and analytics.
Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City.
Can start as soon as possible.
Desirables:
Proficient in using Advanced Microsoft Excel tools, including G-Suite
Data Analytics or Project management experience
Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Tableau, or other visualization tools
Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines and manage a workload efficiently to meet competing deadlines
