What will you do?
The Data Analyst is responsible for establishing and optimizing our data architecture to support our products and initiatives. This role will also support our Product, Sales, Marketing and leadership teams by providing insights gained from analyzing our organizational data.
Responsibilities:
Working with our data resources offshore (Philippines), create and maintain an optimal data pipeline architecture, maximizing efficiency and potential for scalability
Collating and structuring large data sets to meet our functional / non-functional business requirements
Building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools (preferably AWS Quicksight or Power BI)
Build analytics tools that utilize the data to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, retention and operational efficiency
Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data and reporting needs.
Keep our data secure and ensure the organization meets compliance requirements
Use predictive modelling to optimize forecasting and revenue generation, customer experiences and targeted marketing.
Provide expert advice in the design and implementation of data analytics tools and data architecture capabilities
Deliver timely and accurate data and analytics, including managing all activities related to data validation and cleansing
Lead and centralize data analytic projects to improve business operation and reporting initiatives
Preparing reports and communicating insights to the wider business and external stakeholders
Performs other ad hoc activities as necessary and as prescribed by the Immediate Manager or Authorized Representative.
What are we looking for?
At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst
Relevant qualifications in finance, economic, mathematics, computer science or related field is preferred
Strong experience working with and creating data architectures
Good experience with any Data Visualisation platform, preferably AWS Quicksight or Power BI
Preferably with exposure to Product Analytics
Experience using statistical computer languages (SQL, and others) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
Detailed understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, data modelling and financial forecasting
Preferably with experience working on AWS Lambda or other serverless computing platform
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate desired outcomes
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
Must be comfortable with the English language and have the ability to communicate well.
Willing to work following Australian time & holidays
