What you will do
Develop new processes to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness of assigned station. This includes qualification and release of new equipment platforms or new process technologies.
Perform machine and process capability studies on assigned station
Through capability studies, develop and implement process improvement strategies
Prioritize and develop projects based on critical needs
Work with multi-functional team to achieve project goals
Optimize current processes using statistical method (i.e. DOE, SPC) to meet customer and internal requirements
Develop and update process related documents such as FMEA, OCAP, control plan, etc for process improvements
Support the handling of new customer product introduction and qualification
Monitor and improve quality and business indices such as yield, LRR, NCRB occurrence and Cost
Provide/Support evaluation reports, executive summary reports, and 8D reports to customer
Support immediate supervisor/lead person for customer, internal, and/or certification audits
Provide/share technical information related to current station such as best practices, breakthroughs and quick wins to colleagues from other sites as necessary.
What you will need
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
With at least 4 years experience in Process Engineering or NPI in related semiconductor assembly.
Expertise in Die Attach/Clip Attach, Solder Dispense, Solder Print and Reflow is an advantage
Computer literate (MS Office, SAS JMP or Minitab) and knowledgeable in SPC, DOE, FMEA, DFM
With Basic Knowledge in Project Management Fundamentals
