WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE? .Act as point person of the ISO team in working with multiple BU ISO to resolve Cyber security incident raised by SOC .Ensure incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation and monitori WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE .Act as point person of the ISO team in working with multiple BU ISO to resolve Cyber security incident raised by SOC .Ensure incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation and monitoring. .Monitor and document escalated incidents to further investigate in accordance with policies, procedures and defined process .Lead SOC team during incident response actions, advise and coordinate with leadership during active incidents .Work closely with Incident response team and provide needed details for investigation .Review and update of playbooks and use cases for operational response to cyber threats .Effectively manages, monitors, and communicates enterprise security risk by maintaining visibility across the corporate and agency enterprises .Develop, Identify and evaluate daily summary reports of security related incident, events and activity relevant to cybersecurity for each BU .Manages EDR tool and other security team owned tools that will aide with Security operation center WHO ARE YOU .Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field. .Hands-on experience in SOC as an operations/technical lead .Experience demonstrating strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for investigating and handling security incidents. .Knowledgeable in incident handling methodologies .Ability to Conduct security research, analysis, and correlation across a wide variety of log sources and data sets .Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize and execute .Strong understanding of latest security principles and protocols .Strong understanding of security operations technologies including SIEM, endpoint tools and network-based logs. .Knowledge in emerging technologies and tactics used within a SOC, and how they are applied to improve efficiency and effectiveness .Understanding of TTPs associated with cyber threats and the ability to develop relevant alerting, countermeasures, and threat hunting techniques. .Scripting ability .Excellent communication skills, both written and oral .Certifications in Information System Security (i.e. CEH, ECIH, CompTIA CySA+).
