Educational Background:
Bachelors degree in any field.
Work Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in the health maintenance organization (HMO), healthcare, or insurance industry, specifically in customer service, claims processing, or provider coordination.
Prior experience in corporate account management or client servicing is highly desirable.
Technical Competencies:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Knowledgeable in HMO processes, including Letter of Authorization (LOA) issuance, claims review and reimbursement, and provider accreditation.
Familiarity with medical terminology and in-patient/out-patient procedures.
Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to ensure accuracy and completeness of claims or medical documents.
Core Competencies and Soft Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across different communication channels (walk-in, email, phone, and online platforms).
Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to handle inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting strict reporting deadlines (daily, weekly, and monthly).
Strong interpersonal and coordination skills, able to work collaboratively with internal departments, clients, and healthcare providers.
Displays discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Flexible, proactive, and willing to perform other related duties as may be assigned by the company.
Other Requirements:
Willing to be assigned on-site within client premises or other designated locations.
Amenable to work during extended hours, weekends, or holidays as required to support client operations.
Advocates telemedicine services and promotes utilization of preferred healthcare providers for consultations and diagnostic procedures.
