Roles and Responsibilities
The Customer Service Officers purpose is to provide assistance to the sales and procurement departments. Responsibilities will include customer communications, sales & product support and administration and working as part of a close team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
- Provide a first-class service in answering and redirecting phone calls professionally and promptly between 8 am and 5 pm Brisbane time.
- Handle and respond to consumer or customer product enquiries or complaints within agreed guidelines or escalate as appropriate.
- Process non-Electronic Data Interchange customer orders within agreed processing times. Release EDI orders and deal with non-compliance issues. Effectively manage backorders and other order administrative requirements.
- Provide support to the Sales team with the preparation of customer product submissions; customer powerpoint presentations and any other administrative requirements.
- Purchase Order Deliveries. Obtain POD's for customer orders as required.
- Customer Submission documents. Support the sales team by preparing customer submission forms. This entails completing detailed information requests on all new products.
- New Customer Projects. Support the sales team in following up with the Product Delivery Team on the status of new projects or new products.
- General Administration. Support the sales team with various sales-related administrative requirements, presentations and research activities as required.
- Any other tasks as required.
Required Experience
- Customer relations or Sales support
A Successful Candidate must have
- Exceptional English language skills with the ability to handle verbal and written activities in a professional and courteous manner. An English dialect appropriate for the Australian market is mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to methodically ensure all aspects of a broad range of daily tasks are methodically and accurately executed
- Ability to analyse complex data and work out the most effective solutions to meet deliverables within the role
- Ability to plan, coordinate and manage the execution of allocated deliverables within agreed timelines to consistently deliver on our customer pledge
- Ability to take ownership of outcomes required to ensure a high-quality result
- Personal awareness, confidence and organisation to manage personal work output to deliver effectively and efficiently on assigned projects
- Ability to generate high levels of energy with a focus on results and success
- Ability to work in teams and influence outcomes through excellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skills both verbal and written
