Job Description An Insighting Manager specializes in answering business problems by preparing data, organizing that data, and then analyzing the data so that business units can find actionable and meaningful insights that lead to business decisions or actions. The work is varied and exciting. The subject area can range from anything related to the customer including evolving behaviors and interests, use of technology and data, location analysis, etc to studying network usage patterns, identifying needs of large and medium companies, or use of products and promotions. There may be an ask to study datasets that are new and identify patterns and customer behavior from it. It can be about confirming a hypothesis or finding correlations. It can be developing on-the-grounds data and analytics to improve week-to-week operations to be data-driven. It can be identifying cohorts from the subscriber base to recommend precise and targeted actions for microsegments. Influence and partner with stakeholders to achieve shared goals. Data Management and Exploration Extraction, exploration, and manipulation of large and complex data sets - leveraging on diverse telco data (CRM, Billing, transactional data, network data) with various external sources of data (digital, social, etc) for analytics and insighting Help internal stakeholders in understanding, interpreting and analyzing massive data sets Analytics and Insighting: Craft easy-to-consume narratives and actionable insights from complex concepts using advanced data visualization and presentation skills Draws out and communicates useful insights, actionable interpretations, alternative approaches, and solutions. Collaborate with business sponsors and different stakeholders to understand and if needed, operationalize analytic findings. Support internal business partners to understand their goals and needs allowing them to make informed decisions backed by quantitative evidence Stakeholder Management and Knowledge Transfer Acts as analytics consultant to internal business users and serve as the point person for questions related to data, measurement methodology, and analytical techniques Enable or support Business in the use of data and various analytical tools to generate and communicate insights Support the drive for change management process to ensure the analytical developments are adopted by relevant internal teams.
