Job Description:
As the Chief Online Officer for a travel agency, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing the online strategy for the agency to increase its online presence and revenue. You will work closely with other executives and departments to ensure that the company's digital marketing, sales, and customer service initiatives are aligned with the overall business objectives. Your duties will involve managing a team of professionals who are responsible for various aspects of the online business, such as web design, development, content creation, SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, affiliate marketing, analytics, and customer support. You will need to have a strong understanding of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in online marketing and e-commerce, and be able to apply that knowledge to drive growth and profitability.
Qualifications:
-A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, marketing,
computer science, or a related field.
-At least 10 years of experience in online marketing, e-commerce, or
digital transformation, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior management
role.
-A strong understanding of the travel industry, its products, services, and
customers, as well as the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in online
marketing, e-commerce, and customer experience.
-Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, strategic, and
problem-solving skills,
-Certifications or credentials in online marketing, e-commerce, or related
fields, such as Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook Ads, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
