The Curriculum and Content Manager (Product) position is an exciting opportunity to work in a startup and EdTech environment in the Philippines. As one of the first employees of MyCode, the candidate will get to be part of the journey in the company's growth in the Philippines and other markets. The candidate will likewise be a key influencer in decisions for partnerships, marketing strategy, and hiring. Accountability and a drive to produce results will be important characteristics in this role.
The Curriculum and Content Manager will report directly to the COO and work with her and relevant team members closely on the following:
Designing a computer programming curriculum for students ages 5 and up
Creating and curating relevant content in the form of videos, presentation slides, guides, handouts, e-books, among others
Developing relevant training and support materials for other stakeholders (ie. MyCode instructors, partner educators, and parents)
Research on effective curriculum, pedagogy, and technology platforms used in facilitating different methods of learning
Expectations of the role:
Show initiative in achieving targets and key milestones
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Be able to work remotely and maintain a flexible schedule
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Experience in computer programming and/or STEM curriculum design
