The Role
As Credit Officer, you will be responsible for evaluating consumer loan applications and performs verification as needed. Assess eligibility, determine degree of risk involved in extending credit or loan, provide data-driven decision and sound judgment
How you'll contribute
Reviews and assesses consumer loan applications based on minimum risk acceptance criteria to determine eligibility
Establish identity and capacity to pay based on investigation results, credit checking, and submitted documents, to determine feasibility of granting loan or credit
Renders sound judgment and credit decision on consumer loan applications
Ensures compliance with policies and procedures using the operations manual and underwriting guidelines to control risk
Proactively propose initiatives to achieve or improve productivity, service delivery, and quality of work
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Commerce, Finance / Accountancy / Banking
At least 2 yrs relevant experience in Credit Underwriting from Banking, Lending Companies or Fintech
Good communication skills both oral and written
Knowledge of credit process
Underwriting Skills
Time Management
Service-Oriented
