The Role
As a Credit Authorizer, you will manage and handle credit authorization requests within the approved level of authority ensuring high level of quality service while managing credit risk.
How you'll contribute
Resolves complaint of cardholder associated from non usage of card or decline transaction but not limited to distorted account balances, non - activation of the card, available balance, wrong expiry of the card, etc. by checking decline reason, card status and correcting account computation using the host system in order to correct the account and ensure successful approval request.
Identifies and escalates suspicious activities from reviewed accounts to Fraud Investigation Team for proper checking of account and mitigation of possible losses.
Ensures that the infractions enumerated and/or implied in the Code of Discipline are observed and are not violated as these are subject to disciplinary action, possible termination as well as civil or criminal penalties.
Processes authorization activities such as merchant / branch call for authorization, bonus application, temporary increase in credit limit request, change of status, continuous billing authorization and cancellation request from merchant following the authorization guidelines and procedure in approving or declining a transaction.
Reviews daily operation of the Department through day 2 changes checking to validate team's process and mitigate potential complaint.
Generates and monitors data-driven reports that will provide support in handling IMS concerns such as mobile updates, unblocking and enrollment of card number to promote utilization of the card in Card not present environment.
Ensures that the Terms and Conditions indicated on the Security Information Manual and the roles assigned in the Business Continuity Risk Management Plan and Risk Control Assessment Testing are read, understood and complied in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and information systems.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in any related field
Knowledge of MS Office Applications
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Able to resolve issues, ability to provide data-driven and comprehensive reports, able to prioritize and meet tight deadlines and desire to continuously learn and improve.
