The opportunity The Creative Director will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day activities with the account teams, including working with senior members of the team to help provide creative services and ideas to meet client objectives. Expectations include ability to balance workload, develop and manage budgets, and be involved in strategic planning. In addition, Creative Director will be involved in full creative content services and develop compelling ideas and presentations. Responsibilities What you'll do Acts as creative and communications strategist who manages all creative services provided on a variety of accounts. Serves as primary point of contact within Creative Content Group to CRMs and clients requiring creative support. Oversees the creation and development of ideas that are on-strategy and meets client objectives. Leads integrated creative teams - designers, writers, technical resources, video producers, event managers, project managers - formed to serve clients. Develops conceptual creative ideas for key client projects and new business that are on-strategy and meets client objectives. Contributes to regular financial forecasting and budget management. Identifies, packages and sells new creative solutions that address client needs and grow revenues. Contributes to Creative's thought leadership by staying current on creative communications industry trends Work with teams, planners, researchers to develop creative platforms and big ideas Develop, write and present captivating ideas with attention to details and deadlines Qualifications What you'll need 8-12 years of experience in advertising/creative agency Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and handle changing needs of clients Ability to illustrate a results-focused approach and commitment to going the extra mile for clients. Experience in a range of mediums including digital, social, broadcast and print Proven experience presenting and successfully selling in creative concepts Superior client service skills and the ability to function well within a team environment Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, vision and leadership to enact change Proven experience in creating stand out and award-winning creative work Comfortable in the role of teacher, trainer, mentor. The successful candidate should possess enough hands-on experience implementing creative content Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into lay language and presentations Fundamental writing capabilities. Experience in developing written materials, including media correspondence and story angles, is a plus. General knowledge of national lifestyle and consumer magazine reporters/editors, experience in building strategic media lists is also a plus. General understanding of the media environment and established media contacts: national, spokespersons, with the ability to create media strategy and drive coverage Experience with social and digital strategies and content development Energetic, self-starter and resourceful problem solver - gets things moving and keeps them on track. High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities Good interpersonal skills, can work effectively in a team environment, negotiate approvals diplomatically, and maintain composure and quality under constant deadline pressure
