Job Description
Controlling activities on the gantry crane ; Movement of consumables and pipe in the factory.
Carry out daily checks on gantry crane ; Work with an authorized slinger and operate only to his signals.
Never exceed the safe working load which is given on the crane load plate ; Checking all round visibility and carefully noting any particular hazard.
Never lifting a load unless satisfied that it has been properly cleared by the slinger ; Never carrying a load directly over personnel
Informing Line Supervisor of any crane machinery issues ; Ensuring crane is operated efficiently and Safely
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Others); Land Transport or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Technical Diploma / Certificate Course w/ 1 yr. exp. /or High School w/ 3 yrs. exp /or General Education (up to 8 Grade) w/ 5 yrs. exp /or General Education (Less than 8 Grade) w/ 8 yrs. exp
Good communication skills in English and Arabic
