Position Description:
This position is responsible for managing and growing the Elanco Animal Health in Philippines affiliate. The position must provide leadership to the entire team and the strategic direction for the affiliate in order to deliver on annual excellent business plan and result.
Functions, Duties, Tasks:
Responsible for all aspects of running the Elanco Animal Health business in Philippines affiliate, including direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to maximize financial performance/investments and increase efficiency. This includes managing all expenses, managing all resources, and achieving annual business plan objectives both in sales and profit
Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing process; making mid-course corrections
Responsible for developing annual business plans and long term strategic plans by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives to meet company objectives
Oversee the synergies of dedicated functional areas that support the affiliate operations including sales, marketing, technical sales support, customer services, financial, supply chain, quality, and managing contract manufacturing relationships if applicable
Increase local presence participating and influencing industry and business associations. Builds company image by collaborating and influencing industry and business associations. Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
Attract, develop, retain talent for full engagement and affiliate effectiveness by recruiting selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and counselling managers and staff; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities
Be the voice of the business/voice of customers to APAC lead team and corporate headquarters in Greenfield, Indianapolis, USA
Assure that operations are in compliance according to company policies, local and us law. Must ensure that products comply with all aspects of the marketing authorization and do not place animal and people at the risk due to inadequate safety, quality, efficacy, or lack of availability
Act as the affiliate Ethics and Compliance officer and is ultimately responsible to ensure all actions in the affiliate company with company ethics and compliance guidelines and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring that a product quality system is in place and has the ultimate responsibility for providing leadership, resources, and oversight for this quality system
Maintain quality services by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state of the art practices; participating in professional societies.
Ensuring of myself and my subordinates comply with the company rules and regulations including Ethics and Compliance and external laws and regulations
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or technical field (animal science, agricultural business from reputable university). MBA preferred.
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience and have been in managerial role for 5-6 years. Ideally should have an establish track record of significant commercial acumen in sales/marketing management experience
Knowledge of regulatory requirements is an advantage
Prior working experience in the Animal Health or Life Science is preferred.

Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken), able to communicate clearly and succinctly to all levels within the organization; able to establish and maintain credibility within Elanco
Excellent interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information/situations and able to network effectively across groups and levels
