COSTING ANALYST
JOB SUMMARY:
Gather costs and other relevant data for costing and re-costing of new and existing products.
Finalize product and/or service costing and initiate entry to the system.
Coordinate with Purchasing, R&D and other departments on the review of services and goods and make recommendations about cost-efficient and financially feasible cost options.
Other duties may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a cost analyst, cost specialist or similar role
Experience in data, operational and financial analysis
Knowledge of accounting processes and software
Strong analytical skills
A business acumen
Great attention to detail
Good communication aptitude
Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
