Main Duties and Responsibilities:
General
Overall in charge of the project costing from estimate, cost control, cost forecast, investment, appraisal and risk analysis.
Specific
Supervise cost engineers and procurement
Assess capital and revenue expenditure for the whole project
Manage the commercial success of a project
Evaluate, assess and approve subcontractors progress billing in terms of cost (Budget vs Actual Expense). Visit site to check work completion and on time delivery of the project
Check technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly (cost related)
Negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope
Checking, review and approval of schedules and requests for procurement, manpower and equipment prepared by cost engineers
Liaise with Head of Operations / Construction Manager pertaining to the delivery of materials and services on site and ensure adherence with the schedule, timescales or budget program and agreed specifications
Establish Project Monitoring which includes date records of change controls, variations, cash flows and general cost information for all projects.
Monitor design development against planned expenditure
Provide technical advice and solving problems on site (cost related issues only)
Carry out reconciliation of cost and value to date/forecast to keep the management team informed of project performances
Evaluate subcontractors
Perform all other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Licensed Civil Engineer
with at least 10 years experience as a Civil Engineer
with Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) certification
with Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) certification
Must be willing to work in Muntinlupa City
Must be willing to start ASAP
