AECOM GBS is currently looking for Cost Manager who will report to the Project Control Manager in Manila and functionally support the Project Control Department located in EMEA Region. The role will cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception / business case through to completion / commissioning. The Cost Manager will be involved in all aspects of cost control / audit procedures, preparation of estimates & tender documentation through the feasibility, design and procurement processes and onto the site delivery / commissioning phase of a project.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Experience managing one or more very complex project, e.g. national clients, multidiscipline services or projects that involve litigation, due diligence, environmental protection etc.
Cost Estimates - work in detail with pursuit team, design team and construction team to create and review estimates.
Works with planner/scheduler to develop, manage, revise, and update integrated detailed project schedules including all phases of project execution and assessing cost impact.
Managing the change order process, including cost estimating, progress verification, change order justification, recommended action for changes, and change order negotiations.
Prepares revised cost forecast for select accounts.
Compares actual cost to funding limitations. Prepares expenditure forecasts to identify critical points in project funding.
Reviews purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures. Maintains tracking database to ensure that subcontractor funding is aligned with work authorization and expenditures.
Minimum Requirements:
Professionally qualified with one of the following: RICS, APM, CIOB, Prince2
Good working knowledge of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)
Clear Infrastructure and project management experience ideally with large infrastructure providers/organisations
Some knowledge of the JCT suite of contracts
Experience of working within a client organization, either directly or through a co-location/secondment arrangement would be of benefit.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Quantity Survey or equivalent.
At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Bonifacio Global City.
Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
Willing to work on a MidShift Schedule (will support UK Region).
