WORK SCOPE:
This position is accountable for the grasp of present situation on cost wise, forecast the potential hazards prior to occurrence, analysis of the influences against profitability and report or warning to the project management.
Prepare "Cost Control Procedure" consistent with project policies, contractual terms with clients and/or subcontractors.
Assessment of the "Definitive Cost Estimate: (DCE) for the project such as estimated manhour, material and construction cost.
Establish the Authorized Budget of the project for the authorization of the Project Manager.
Establish the control budgets for each discipline based on the Authorized Budget.
Set-up and update "Project Cost Status Report" (PCS).
Estimate and handle the "Change Order", for client and assist the Project Manager and/or the Construction Manager to negotiate with client.
Monitor and analyze the trend about the actual consumed cost and anticipate the final cost for the whole of the Project.
Perform "Check Estimate" which updates final cost forecast.
Prepare and/or update various cost/financial data including "Payment Schedule" and "Exposure List" for reporting to the Accounting Dept.
Prepare and issue "Cost Reports" to client by the designated timing in case of reimbursable project and for annual company settlement of account twice a year.
Analyze and evaluate the final cost data and prepare a report as a company's historical data at the end of the project
Supervise, instruct and guide his subordinates to efficiently perform their duties entrusted respectively in accordance with "Cost Control Procedure".
Prepare "Cost Control Procedure" consistent with project policies, contractual terms with clients and/or subcontractors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical)
At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Costing or equivalent.
