As a Cost Engineer your primary responsibility is to manage and control project costs effectively. You will play a critical role in ensuring that construction projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Assess the impact of change orders on project costs and timelines.
Prepare and review change order requests and negotiate changes with relevant stakeholders.

Generate regular cost reports and updates for project management.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis to optimize project spending.
7. Risk Assessment:
Identify potential cost risks and uncertainties associated with construction projects.
Develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize financial impacts.
Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in cost engineering or related roles within the construction industry is preferred.
With knowledge of cost estimation methodologies and software.
Proficiency in project management and accounting software.
