Eram Talent, an independent Talent Acquisition Company, is seeking a Cost Engineer to join their team in the oil and energy industry. This position will focus specifically on the oil and gas sector where the company's global reach and network can best provide outstanding recruitment solutions.
The primary responsibility of the Cost Engineer is to provide project cost management support to the project team. This includes monitoring and reporting cost performance, preparing cost estimates, and budgeting. Additionally, the Cost Engineer will support the development and implementation of project control systems and procedures, as well as assess and recommend appropriate solutions to control costs. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
Monitor and report cost performance to ensure project cost objectives are met
Prepare cost estimates and budgets to accurately forecast project costs
Develop and implement project control systems and procedures to ensure effective cost monitoring
Assess and recommend appropriate solutions to control costs
Review and analyze project budget and actual spending to ensure alignment with project scope and objectives
Identify and communicate potential cost savings opportunities to the project team
Participate in project meetings to provide cost management expertise and guidance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project cost management in oil and energy industry
Proficient in project cost management software, such as Primavera or equivalent
Experience in cost estimating and budgeting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to travel, if required
