Qualifications:
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• With experience or knowledge in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, or equivalent.
• With at least 3-5 years of working experience in the construction or industrial industry.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications.
• With good interpersonal communication skills both oral and written.
• Has the ability to manage time to strictly meet project deadlines.
• Willing to start immediately and to be assigned at Pasig City.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Mainly responsible for preparing and verifying realistic, adaptable, complete, and accurate unit cost or pricing for cost
estimates, cost studies, and detailed Bill of Quantities.
• Mainly responsible for the developing, maintaining, monitoring applicability, and regular updating of the Quantity Surveying
Department's Cost Data Base, which includes, but not limited to the following:
Standard/current unit costs (to include materials, labor, plant, others)
Standard/applicable cost of preliminaries/ indirect costs
Standard material and labor rates
Cost database of past and existing projects for present/future reference
• Mainly responsible for requesting quotations from and/or necessary coordination with prospective contractors and
suppliers to update cost database or serve project requirements.
• Develops, maintains, and updates standard unit cost derivation, pricing analysis, and cost projections (to include forex,
labor wages, inflation, etc.)
• Attends product presentations and maintains product brochures/literature and list and Directory of prospective contractors
and suppliers for reference purposes.
• Assist and advise on all cost-related project issues and concerns.
• Exemplifies qualities that would encourage staff loyalty, teamwork, and dedication to the organization.
• Any other work, projects, or tasks as directed by the Cost Engineering Head.
