Job Responsibilities
Interpret RFIs, ASIs, Bulletins, Change Documents for potential cost impact
Overlay construction plans and provides a narrative of changes
Perform Quantity takeoffs in OST and Bluebeam
Communicate effectively with subcontractors, to identify and resolve discrepancies in pricing, via email, and via phone
Follow up on pricing requests, track down pricing from subcontractors.
Compare subcontractors change order log to O'Neil Subcontractor Tracking log. Identify and resolve discrepancies
Prepare Change Order pricing packages, so the packages are ready for submission to the Owner
Support Change Management Team Lead
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or any related field
3 years minimum combined work experience in building construction and estimating
Proficient or knowledgeable with the following software programs: MS Office, On-Screen Takeoff, BlueBeam, Box, CMiC, PlanGrid.
Familiar with the Uniform Building Code (UBC), International Building Code (IBC), and International Code Council (ICC)Familiar with different types of building construction (i.e.Type I II III IV V)
Familiar with the different types of estimating format (by Trade by Division and Systems or Assembly)
Minimum Qualifications
Proficient in reading plans, drawings, specifications, and other construction documents
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Keen attention to detail
Proficient in reading construction plans, drawings, and specifications
