General /Primary Purpose
The position is responsible for leading, directing and coordinating cost estimations for construction projects, ensures that all data and estimations are accurate and is within the allocated project budget, provides recommendations and possible action plan to enhance and improve operations.
Essential Functions
Coordinates closely with the Project Manager, Operations Manager and H.R./Admin Manager in forecasting, estimation and planning of materials, supplies and manpower.
Ensures that all estimations and costing are within the allocated budget of a particular construction projects.
Coordinates with the Project Manager in defining project scopes, estimated project completion, phases to be estimated and schedule of phases or modules.
Identifies and recognizes possible budget constraints and looks for possible ways on how to address problems that might affect the project operation and budget.
Collects and gathers data to monitor and manage possible risks and identify contingency plans.
Provides financial reporting, trending data and performs data analysis and development.
Provides recommendations and action plans based on audit findings to enhance and improve operations and avoid delays in the completion of construction project.
In-charge of auditing to ensure that financial reports and other reports are free from material mistreatment, whether caused by fraud or error.
Conducts site inspection and coordinates with the QA/QC Engineer to ensure that the Labor Cost Estimated coincides with the project completion or accomplishment reports of both Admin Laborers and Sub-Con.
Coordinates with the Accounting Staff to ensure accurateness and correctness of financial data to ensure that the construction project is within or outside its operational budget.
Attends daily Safety Toolbox and observes strict adherence to safety protocols.
Job Specifications/Qualifications
The candidate must be/have:
A Graduate of Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering or any related Engineering Course;
Knowledgeable in Risk Management, Cost Estimations or Engineering, Planning, Scheduling;
Basic or Functional Knowledge in Accounting, Auditing and Finance;
Computer Literate and familiarity with MS Office App, AutoCad, and other software and system related to engineering;
Preferably with PRC License;
At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in the same field.
