Responsible for performing various cost estimating functions such as but not limited to analysis of construction plans and other project documentation in order to arrive at an accurate quantity take-off of project man hours, costing of materials and labor estimates for housing, non-housing projects and land development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze construction plans and other projects documentations in order to arrive at an accurate quantity take off of projects manhours, forecasted projects timetable, costing of materials and labor estimates for housing and amenities.
Collaborates with and confers with Design Engineers and Architects on changes and adjustment made on cost estimates.
Reviews and evaluates the cost estimates and validates if the standards for doing the cost estimates are in accordance with the approved unit cost and procedures of estimating.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Must be licensed Civil Engineer
Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in performing cost estimating and quantity take off of project manhours, costing of materials and labor estimates for housing, non housing projects and land development.
