MEP COST ENGINEER-Team Leader
DMCI Homes is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced QS to join our commercial team in Makati. As MEP QS, you will play a pivotal role in project cost management and control, ensuring that our project are executed efficiently and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Candidate must be a graduate of mechanical or Electriclal Engineering
-At least 5 years QS experience with atleast 2 years supervisory experience.
-Must be willing to work at the head office.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Collaborate with MEP Team to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates and bill of quantities (Budet cost estimates and Pre-tender estimates).
-Manage the preparation of tender documents, tender clarification, and tender analysis report.
-Review and analysis of contractor's proposal for variation orders and claims
-Manage change orders, varations and claims while maintaining accurate record up to the final account.
-Manage the preparation of BOM through CostX
-Assist in developing/updating training materials needed to enhance commercial team's competencies.
-Under take cost analysis, value engineering and risk and opportunity costs.
- Administering subcontractor's contract obligations, entitlements, and procedures
-Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle, Identifying cost variances and proposing cost-effective solutions and monitor project financial performance.
- Overseeing and improving project reporting processes
- Manage the team in preparation of accurate monthly progress reports and cost forecast.
- Supervise coordination between team members and ensure effective collaboration and communication
