Job Summary:
As the Cost Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our operations, including monitoring expenses, analyzing cost data, and preparing reports. You will work closely with department heads and management to identify areas where costs can be reduced and ensure that all expenditures are within budget.
Responsibilities:
Monitor expenses and ensure that they are within budget.
Analyze cost data and identify areas where costs can be reduced.
Prepare reports on financial performance.
Work closely with department heads and management to develop strategies for reducing costs.
Participate in budget planning and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits to ensure that all expenditures are properly documented and accounted for.
Provide financial guidance to management on cost-related matters.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in cost control or a similar role preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with financial reporting and budget planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
