GENERAL FUNCTION OF THE JOBCost Control Officers are responsible in costing utilized equipment based from the number of hours rendered and utilized on specific job and scope of activity.
SYSTEM, METHODS, PROCEDURES AND OPERATIONS
Reports daily to Engineering and Cost Control Assistant Manager, upholding and fulfilling task and responsibilities of a Cost Control Officer.
Assists the Engineering Manager / Assistant Engineering Manager in regular updating of the established Department SOPs to conform with any changes/upgrades of the work system;
Maintains accountability and management of all resources/facilities/equipment assigned to him/her.
Responsible in encoding/inputting utilized equipment and the total utilization hours in the database/template.
Consolidates all equipment utilization reports (EUR), equipment rental reports (ERR), trip tickets, and Principal Job Orders.
Ensures proper handling of Principal and Sub-contractors' Equipment Rental Billings.
Verifies Sub-contractors' equipment rental billings and submits to the Engineering and Cost Control Manager for further validation and correction, if any.
Deputized as timekeeper. Inputs/entries of employees' Daily Time Record regularly and submits summary to Engineering Manager for further validation and any modification before submission to project accountant during/every closed payroll.
Monitors from time to time the operations in the field.
Conducts reconciliation of billings to concerned personnel before finalization of any billing, and ensures that no discrepancy and inconsistency shall reflect to data of any billing.
Provides all data related to Periodic Department Accomplishment and Progress to the Junior Mining Engineer.
Renders overtime work if necessary and during change-shift of employees.
Entries in the logbook all necessary data or concerns arises in the course of the operation.
Keeps an organized, up-to-date record of system files and other related engineering data.
Ensure that the functions operate in accordance with any health, safety and wellbeing under his supervision.
Acts other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned by his superior from time to time
