JOB SUMMARY
The Cost Control Associate ensures that costs are maintained at an optimum level by promoting effective use of goods. To prepare cost reports accurately and to be submitted on time. Also responsible for review, propose and recommend a system of internal control for the proper safekeeping of inventories.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Check daily deliveries from the supplier's invoices and/or delivery notes and counter signs after verification of quality and quantity.
Conduct invoice verification for the prior day's deliveries and report any discrepancies.
Verify all inter-transfer between the RVC and production outlets.
Update items received from various systems, generate appropriate reports for validation and review.
Prepare a summary of verified invoices for payment and necessary documents for proper accounting.
Work closely with F&B personnel and kitchen staff to establish accurate food, beverage prices and recipe costing.
Prepare weekly cost reports and monthly analysis reports. As well as service / bar and kitchen consumption reports and various store issuance reports.
Prepare special management reports like monthly staff canteen consumption reports and the like.
Conduct inventory spot checks on service / bar, kitchen and stores as needed.
Manage month-end and year-end accruals in time for the closing of the accounting period.
Responsible for the maintenance of MC and SAP receiving and store modules.
Coordinate with F&B personnel and kitchen staff to establish accurate food and beverage prices and recipe costing.
Aid in providing fill-ins to accomplish weekly cost reports and monthly analysis, service/bar and kitchen consumption reports and various store issuance reports.
Conduct inventory spot checks on service/bar, kitchen and stores as needed.
Perform yield test service/bar and kitchen on most frozen and fresh items.
Monitor breakages and spillages procedures during disposal.
Assist month-end and year-end inventory counts on all service/bar, kitchen and stores.
Prepare inventory turnover and related ratios, including summary of slow-moving and obsolete items.
Periodically inspect the store section and confirm that internal controls are intact and up-to-date.
Arrange list of all trading stocks' selling prices and cost of sales to ensure alignment within the business plan.
Organize and maintain the Fidelio material management system to warrant accurate costing.
Prepare and create articles, requests and amendments.
Suggest improvements to internal control procedures.
Accomplish daily inter-transfers of stock among outlets and stores.
Coordinate issues arising from day-to-day tasks to senior management and recommend solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a college graduate, preferably of any of the following courses: Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or a related field
Preferably one (1) year relevant experience in cost control; fresh graduates may apply.
