This position will lead the job costing report monitoring and generation to ensure all expenses are within budget.
Provide technical support and assistance to budget holders during the project budget planning & preparation process
Actual project cost monitoring vs budget and forecast
Review and ensure accuracy of budget data entered in the accounting system
Performs in-depth cost and variance analysis of all projects in comparison to budget & forecast and assess risks and opportunities for escalation and reporting purposes
Delivery of month end business controlling tasks, such as revenue and cost accruals.
Monitors and maintains visibility of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Advances to Suppliers, Employee Advances subject to liquidation
Assist the PM in the preparation and review of client's billings
Perform other related tasks that may be required from time to time.
Core Competencies:
Knowledge and professional exposure with SAP Business One and/or other computerized accounting software including other relevant IT software such as project management tools, is a must.
Developed organizational skills and has ability to handle confidential information.
Structured, accurate, systematic and committed to deliver and take account of quality output within deadlines.
Motivated to facilitate and contribute to company's growth.
Job Qualifications:
Has a Bachelors' degree in accounting or any related field
Preference for CPA/CMA applicants
Has at least 2-3 years working experience in a project driven/construction industry
Has knowledge and experience in cost and project accounting
Has an experience in data entry and management
Ability to take initiative, and make decisions within applicable scope, procedures and guidelines
Ability to collaborate and communicate well with counterparts.
