Job Description
The Accounting Specialist for the Cost Accounting Department, is an individual contributor role who shall assist the Accounting Manager by performing highly specialized managerial accounting work to gather, organize, and arrange cost data into useful information or reports and provide insights therein.
This position is expected to:
Financial Analysis: Assisting the Accounting Manager - Cost Accounting Department on data gathering, organizing, and summarizing into cost reports. It is expected that the specialist will be able to give initial insights from the reports.
Compliance: Verifies compliance's on internal controls applicable to activities with manufacturing costs implications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Accounting, Finance or similar finance related disciplines
With at least 2 years of solid business work experience in Cost Accounting with at least 1 year of which in specialist/analyst role. Preferably with past experiences from manufacturing firms.
Advanced and demonstrated knowledge of data processing and analytics and its application for the company
High Proficiency in MS Office specially Microsoft Excel, Word and Point.
Good command of English Language in both written and oral communication.
A decent background in product cost movement in ERP systems.
A decent knowledge and technical experience in basic cost accounting concepts and techniques.
