Responsibilities
Performs month-end closing for Factory related accounts and ensure that all are properly analyzed and accounted for with comprehensive analysis (actual vs forecast, plan, prior year)
Capable of preparing balance sheet accounts analysis and recon especially for Inventory, Payables, Fixed assets and related accounts
Ensure accuracy of cost calculation through stringent validation of product cost and standard costing processes and thorough checking of payables.
Ensure controls through rigid validation of TOA and checking of inventory adjustments, chargeback, scrap/FA disposals, scrap sales proceeds, factory capital investment monitoring
Risk management control issues, drive closure and discussion with CFO and controller
Assist in driving cost savings and efficiency through monitoring and providing productivity recon and analyses
Documentation of policies and procedures, for review and approval with CFO and controller
Simplify SAP processes and drives resolution related to Factory issues. Standardize process related to correct GL account mapping in SAP and explore to further improve reports indicating insight, predictive analytics and forward looking scenarios
Spearhead Inventory count activities and ensure closure of inventory recon variances
Participates in budget planning and forecasting activities of factory related accounts
Timeliness and accuracy to ensure that all factory finance reports are readily viewable in dashboard report using one source of data
Monitoring of operational metrics ensuring 100% achievement and recommend improvements relating to operational efficiency and effectiveness. Monitoring of issues, drive closure and create mistake proof solution
Compliance with Legal Entity requirements (i.e, Audit, Taxation, CIC reporting)
30% driving synergies and process improvement for Cost accounting and Management reporting across PSD
70% ensuring operational excellence for all finance related processes for Aircon business
Requirements
Education. B.S Accountancy or Management Accounting, Cost Accounting Management and Analyses
Inventory Management and Analyses, BU Reportorial requirements, Financial Controls
Training and Certification. SAP FI/CO - Proficient in management accounting services and analysis and financial controls in management accounting services
Experience.With experience in Finance and Accounting manufacturing environment.Reporting requirements
