Job Specification
1. Interacts with Operations to ensure Bills of Materials (BOM)
are accurate and up to date;
2. Plans, studies and collects data to determine costs of
business activity such as direct materials, direct
labor and overhead;
3. Analyses actual labor, material, and overhead cost against
Standard/Budget. Researches and explains
variances. Reports this information monthly or
as needed;
4. Records cost information for use in controlling expenditures;
5. Analyses audits of costs and prepares reports;
6. Prepares and analyses project cost report by comparing budget
versus actual;
7. Prepares and analyses project profitability report; provides
productivity analysis a per project basis;
8. Maintains cost accounting system;
9. Assists in the month-end and year-end closing of general
ledger;
10. Protects organization's value by keeping information
confidential.
Qualifications
1. Must be a college graduate preferably BS Accountancy
2. Preferably with at least 2 years work related experience
3. Knowledgeable in accounting software, Microsoft Excel and
Word
4. Keen attention to details
5. Ability to maintain confidentiality
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality
7. Good analytical skills
8. Must have a high level of professionalism and integrity
9. Can work under pressure with very minimal error
10. Must be flexible in dealing with people with different
personalities
