ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our team. As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization. You will also play a key role in analyzing and recommending costs and cost savings, as well as assessing the impact of changes in goods or services on the overall cost.
Additionally, you will be tasked with estimating new and proposed product costs, and providing management with reports that specify and compare factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services. You will also assist in IT and Commissary Cost Accounting concerns, and produce and maintain monthly cost reports for use by executives.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data.
