QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (preferred).
at least 3 years of Cost Accounting work experience (required).
Sound understanding of accounting principles.
Solid cost systems background.
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills.
Willing to work in DRT Bulacan
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing all inventory-related journal entries at month end
Defining various product and operational costs
Developing depreciation schedules
Monitoring unit cost variance
Implementing cost standards for materials and labor
Preparing cost of goods sold and production reports
Reconciling beginning raw materials, work-in-progress and finished-goods stock
Designing and implementing cost accounting systems
Analyzing production costs and recommending changes
Overseeing annual physical inventory
Prepares and complete internal cost audits
Analyzes manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
Assists in audits and general ledger preparation.
Conducts physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program
Prepares variance analyses reports to identify specific and significant cause/s of cost/expense fluctuations, which will help draw the attention of management to areas where cost is applied or where cost reduction is needed
Prepares analysis reports related to costs and overhead expenses
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of the financial records
Performs other tasks assigned/requested by his/her superiors
