Tallant Asia is currently looking for a Corporate Secretary for a company based in Singapore.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform company secretarial matters for Singapore (and to a lesser extent Hong Kong and offshore) companies independently
Preparation and review of documents, statutory compliance, corporate governance, regulatory requirements for Singapore & non-Singapore companies
To ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory matters such as the Companies Act and other applicable regulations
To liaise with clients and/or governing bodies, if necessary
To update and maintain statutory records and proper filings
Update and maintain statutory registers/records of private companies
Submit e-filings and returns to ACRA & IRAS
Prepare minutes of meetings, resolutions, meeting papers
To perform all Bizfile lodgments and filings
Ensure clients comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
All other relevant corporate secretarial duties
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirement
Minimum 2 years of relevant company secretarial/corporate services working experience, preferably in corporate secretarial firms
Good spoken and written communication skills in English
Preference for candidates who are bilingual in English and a second language
Process-oriented and meticulous
Able to tackle challenges and meet tight deadlines
Team player and ability to work independently and advise on routine corporate secretarial matters
Affinity to work with new technology is a must.
A candidate with a background in law is a plus.
