Job Description
Job Overview:
Responsible for the management of all legal cases of all Companies within the Group pertaining to corporate, labor, tax/tariff, insurance and rehabilitation matters.
Monitors all cases assigned to external lawyers, represents the Company with the NLRC, Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court and provides advice to Management on all legal issues, concerns and cases.
Likewise, represents the company in its transactions with Government Agencies as well as with Local Government Officials such as the Mayor or Governor, ensuring that the interest of the Company is well protected at all times.
Job Qualifications:
Must have at least twenty (20) years of experience in the practice of Law with emphasis on Corporate and Labor Law gained from Law Offices. Preferably must have also worked in a corporate setting.
With experience in actual litigation cases at NLRC, Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court.
Must have established good contacts with Government Agencies and Local Government Units.
Degree in Law from reputable Law Schools, must be a BAR passer
Excellent in oral and written communications.
With excellent negotiation skills
Knowledgeable of Philippine Labor Code and Corporate Laws
