ROLE SUMMARY
As a member of the Finance Team, the Controller helps to optimize finance systems and processes for our client. Working directly with the CFO and Finance Manager, they will provide the financial clarity needed to deliver on key business priorities and outcomes. Responsible for full accounting cycle and internal controls except for tax filings, which are performed by outsourced tax professionals. Develops and leads the Finance Team members and executes critical financial tasks ensuring that monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and financial reports are completed timely and accurately.
SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (12:00 AM - 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Execute the financial strategy to enable the company to reach its long-term and short-term goals
Manage the accurate and timely delivery of all accounting activities, including the general ledger, cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, payroll, and preparation of financial statements
Execute key financial activities (i.e., monthly close, weekly cash flow forecast, journal entries, treasury management, etc.) and assist in other areas as needed
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and billing resources
Maintain vendor relationships with banks, credit card agencies, insurance agencies, accounting firms, and finance/HR systems
Drive and directly execute the annual budgeting process for the company.
Drive and directly execute the quarterly forecasting process for the company
Produce department budgets and other key financial information for department leaders and ELT
Govern and optimize financial processes
Develop and continually improve internal control structure with an emphasis on system understanding, procedural documentation, standardization, and optimization
Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience in US accounting is required
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required
7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in a private, growing organization
Previous MSP or Technology experience is an advantage
Comprehensive understanding and application of ERP Systems
Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with highly sensitive matters
Strong financial management skills, including budget management, expense control, forecasting, and financial statement analysis
Additional focus on US Accounting, FP&A, and finance team management skills
Ability to work in an autonomous environment where you can be a self-directed, independent worker

Experience in a multi-client environment
Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
