Job Description
ABC Program Implementation
. Supports the Senior Manager in the implementation of the Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) Program, including the implementation of the due diligence processes.
Subject Matter Expert for Compliance Policies
. Acts as the SME for the following areas of Compliance for Life and General Insurance and ensure reporting requirements are done in a timely manner:
o FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)
o Cross Border Business Policy
o Related Party Transaction
o As an SME to the policies mentioned above, the Compliance Manager may be required to conduct specialized training sessions/presentations to business units or to the management.
Other Corporate Compliance functions:
. Facilitates the policy embedding exercises with the business units and other support the Senior manager in conducting compliance-related activities such as but not limited to the following:
o Anti-Bribery & Corruption and Compliance Risk assessments
o Gap analysis and Policy embedding of policies assigned under him/her
o Partner with Risk in Compliance risks assessments
Ensures regular review and update of General Compliance policies
. Performs BRMACC secretariat functions
. Keeps abreast of regulatory developments in the Insurance industry as well as evolving best practices in compliance controls
. Ensures timely submission of data requirements in management reports.
. Supports the Compliance team in other activities and Group requirements
. May act as a Project lead for other General Compliance projects
. The Compliance Manager will act as the alternate Compliance lead in the absence of the Sr. Manager for Corporate Compliance.
Your Profile
. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the insurance industry (e.g. Compliance and Operations)
. Strong background in conducting training
. Strong communication skills
. Experience in leading or participating in Compliance projects
. Detail-oriented and assertive
. Team-player
