Responsibilities
PR/Media Relations
Support the development of the PR/Corp Comms plan for IDC Asia/Pacific and maintain an editorial calendar to achieve objectives.
Prepare, vet and edit any documents (e.g., press releases, briefing documents, infographics, etc.) as needed.
Manage the timelines with Analysts to ensure timely delivery of press materials including media briefing docs.
Promote PRs, blogs/bylines and other Corp Comms assets including media interviews - written or live - on IDC's official channels.
Help mobilize IDCers in promoting PR/media activities and content assets developed.
Maintain the Press Release and other Corporate Announcement pages in our regional website.
Develop thought leadership assets such as videos and infographic/briefs that will help strengthen IDC's brand image.
Terms of Use Execution
Review and manage all requests for use of IDC content following the IDC Permissions Terms of Use.
Support training/education of IDCers with IDC's terms of use and Permissions review.
Media Relationship
Support media relationship building activities, and helps maintain an effective media database, and organize media events/interviews as needed.
Manages the media queries promptly to keep relationships strong.
Terms of Use Execution
Monitor press coverage of implemented media activities.
Consistently measure effectiveness of media activities/outreach and propose changes as needed
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in building and maintaining media relationships
Good stakeholder management and ability to work well with a wide spectrum of audience (e.g. media, public, senior management and the Analysts)
Ability to create a Communications Plan and build an editorial calendar
Strong project management skills
