Reports directly to the Accounting Manager and responsible for effectively supervising the various functional areas of cost accounting, financial reporting and analysis requirements, and maintenance of the books of accounts.
Also responsible for providing assistance in the maintenance of the Company's ERP.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Costing
Reviews inventory costing, adjustments, and movement and approves corresponding journal entries.
Inventory Adjustments
Reviews results of cycle count and approves adjustments within the prescribed authority limit.
Inventory Related Reports
Prepares and/or reviews inventory-related reports.
Financial Statements
Reviews monthly bank reconciliation report.
Monitors, reconciles, maintains, and/or reviews the subsidiary ledger of all accounts versus the general ledger.
Prepares and/or reviews, and reports accurate financial statements, and management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Coordinates with external auditors and prepares all requirements for the completion of external financial audit.
Coordinates with other groups and departments in relation to the accounting operations and reporting, for the proper implementation and application of the companies' policies and procedures, and for compliance with government and regulatory bodies, and audit standards.
Files and maintains all accounting records and reports within his function.
ERP Maintenance
Assists in the maintenance of ERP.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Performs other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned as needed.
Complies with the Company's Quality Management System.
QUALIFICATIONS
College graduate with bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
CPA preferred but not required
Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in effectively supervising the various functional areas of cost accounting, financial reporting and analysis requirements, and maintenance of the books of accounts.
Proficient with MS Office applications such as Word Document, Excel and PowerPoint.
