Job Description
We're looking for a copywriter to join our in-house Editorial team in Manila. Your job is to create compelling website content that encourages readers to take action. Content ranges from homepages and banners to landing pages and an entire website worth of inner pages.
Scope of Work:
Creating clear, persuasive website content in English for our clients in the IT industry and other vertical markets
Editing website content and proofreading documents
Researching each client's business strategy, competitive environment, and existing marketing communications
Understanding the fundamental message to be communicated about the client's products, services, and unique selling points
Responsibility for ad-hoc copy development requests - working cross-team and with the client
Writing blog posts and other articles or marketing content as required
Managing a busy work schedule, prioritizing tasks based on urgency, and helping team members as needed
You'll be working alongside other copywriters in Manila and collaborating remotely with client production managers, designers, WordPress developers, and other colleagues at our Bangkok office. You must be able to provide clear, concise instructions and feedback that can be understood easily in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience writing website copy or other forms of copywriting in English
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Good editing and proofreading skills
Great research, organizational, and learning skills
Content- and copy-editing experience is a big plus
Familiarity with Google Drive/Docs is a plus
An ability to optimize content for SEO is a plus
Familiarity with business technology and office IT is a big plus
