Qualifications:
At least Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate in Culinary or Bachelor's Degree in Food & Beverage Services or Hotel & Restaurant Management or equivalent;
At least one (1) year experience in the related field is required for this position;
Must have good knowledge in cooking as well as implementing and maintaining food production operational standards;
Have proven kitchen skills, experienced in working in a fast-paced environment, flexible, works independently
Flexible and can do multi-tasking;
Willing to be assigned in Davao City
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares meat, vegetables, garnishes, and other ingredients to be used for cooking
Cooking menu items using various kitchen gadgets and cooking methods
Making sure that food items are always fresh before serving
Maintaining a clean kitchen station and work area and making sure the utensils and kitchen equipment are left clean after each use
Working with other kitchen staff to ensure consistent and high-quality food service
Resolving issues related to food orders or customer complaints efficiently
Having knowledge about the daily menu and accommodating customer's requests
Arranging, garnishing, and plating dishes to a high standard
Checking food before it's given to the wait staff to serve to customers
Making sure the kitchen is left clean and sanitized after cooking
Keeping regular stock of the pantry and ordering supplies when necessary
Being involved in planning menus
Working in compliance with food safety regulations and processes
Keeping a stock inventory record
