Our major client in the water and waste management sectors is looking for experienced professionals.
Work assignment will vary (office or site, and sometimes at subcontractor premises) depending on the project phase.
Reporting to: Project Manager (Operational) and Automation Manager (Functional)
1. Prepare technical documents for automation subcontractors while request, and manage the vendor's technical assessment.
2. Technical interface with automation engineers (remote) and local Philippine automation vendor;
3. Support to local buyer, sourcing the control equipment /device to be purchased locally.
4. Liaise and investigate the project requirement and practices of end-client (Manila Water and/or Maynilad).
5. Coordinate with Engineer and/or the Client for clarifications or problem resolutions, support on the approval of the automation submissions;
6. Technical coordination and clarification with process engineer (remote) about the process control description;
7. Carry out the automation engineering production while request, include technical specification, IO list, Control architecture, FDS, cable list, checking on automation drawing, etc.
8. Carry out the PLC/SCADA program modification while request;
9. Manage the automation subcontractor to implement the project smoothly include programming and site commissioning;
10. Support by the Automation engineer (remote), carry out the timely guidance and periodical quality check of the automation program done by subcontractor
11. Assess monthly progress of automation subcontractor.
12. Coordination with end-user (Manila Water and/or Maynilad) and lead the program FAT conducted by subcontractor;
13. Update the FDS (functional design specification) per FAT;
14. Update the FDS after site commissioning;
15. Site management of automation subcontractor to implement the automation commissioning;
16. Carry out the site commissioning and/or debugging of control system while assign.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Profession in Industrial Automation or similar;
2. 10+ years work experience on Automation projects, project experience on water treatment project will be plus;
3. Rich experience on Siemens PCS-7 and S7-1500, project experience on Rockwell A-B PLC will be a plus.
4. Experience on Siemens Step7 and Potal.
5. Experience on Wincc.
6. Be familiar with industrial network, field bus and related communication protocol, i.e Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet, etc...
7. Familiar with Visio.
8. Good ability on problem analysis and problem solving skill.
9. Good leadership skill, experience on leading few engineer is plus;
10. Team work spirit.
11. Fluent English in speaking, writing and reading.
