The opportunity

Responsibilities
Support the Global Data Technology (GDT) portfolio of contracts, including defining and operating a sustainable contracts renewal process
Support annual software maintenances, SaaS renewals, invoicing, and purchase orders
Own, manage, and maintain activities and processes related to resource intake
Facilitate reviews of outstanding intake demand with delivery leads to ensure resource forecasts are accounted for in upcoming contract renewals
Support the appropriate procurement activity to submit intake request post triage
Prepare related reporting and analysis as needed, including monthly overview of contingent workforce
Support the governance model with relation to vendor engagement and software contracts
Coordinate vendor meetings and events as needed
Conduct data analytics on vendor spend and identify optimization opportunities

What we are looking for
2+ years of experience in global supply chain management and/or vendor management and/or contract management
An interest in sourcing and procurement principles, best practices, and tools
Strong communication and relationship building skills to work across multiple teams and levels of management
Ability to create and present executive level summary of detailed information
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knows basic formulas
An interest in how technology supports Manulife's strategy
Comfortable drafting and sending communications to large audiences
Understands cross team structures, team cultures, cooperation & information sharing within the company
Awareness of data and cloud technology stack
Some understanding of internal processes and how to manage to expedite outcomes
Strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills required
Strong conflict resolution skills preferred
Able to work across teams to drive best outcomes
Solution focused with strong understanding of outcomes
