Your tasks and responsibilities
Conducts regular sales call for targeted accounts, identify business opportunities for logistics requirement and update Core-log report.
Create a well planned sales presentations to new clients to show KN Contract Logistics Philippines capabilities.
Develop and exchange sales leads with other K+N offices and agents if necessary specially on accounts which have regional decision impact.
Prepare quotations / tender/ bidding/ RFQ/ RFI as requested by customers and liase with the National Operations Assistant Manager & Regional Manager Contract Logistics Solutions Engineering for rate approval.
Coordinates with government agencies, trade associations, banks and other offices, attend trade fair exhibits to gather information of sales leads and potential target accounts for contract logistics.
Monitor competitors' activities and pricing structures through periodical business updates and client feedback to protect Kuehne & Nagel market share and identify areas where the company can enhance better quality service.
Conducts cost comparison studies to evaluate K+N service against competitors vs. rate offer.
Maintain clients' portfolio. Accommodates their complaints and request along K+N line of service specially for Contract Logistics.
Accomplish daily activity reports to inform management of clients' feedback and to complement proper plan of action for client's request.
Monitor competitor's market share in terms of logistics services and identifying reason for lost accounts or lost business opportunities.
Providing regular reporting to the management as directed.
Initiate and conduct regular business review with client as part of our customer retention program and continuous improvements.
Your skills and experience
Preferably a graduate of Industrial Engineering or with equivalent experience at least 5 years in Warehouse & Inventory Management, Distribution or Fleet Management & preferably came from a fast phase 3PL or manufacturing company.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the international freight forwarding industry and knowledgeable in all facets of Air/Sea Import and Export operations.
Have strong track record in sales and business acumen.
Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills.
Self motivated and disciplined with the ability to work with one's own initiative and as part of a team.
Fluent in oral and written English
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
