As a content writer, you research and produce digital-marketing content. Share your critical insights by attending weekly team meetings. As you help Unity expand, we support your career growth through regular coaching, training sessions, and two workshops a year.
How You Spend Your Eight Hours
● Write blog posts, guest posts, or business listings
● Research client websites, credible online sources, and technical subjects under digital marketing
● Receive coaching from assigned editor or Managing Editor regularly
● Attend one-on-ones with Managing Editor every other week and weekly team meetings
● Participate in monthly writing audits
● Perform other tasks assigned by Managing Editor, such as writing press releases and job
descriptions for recruitment marketing
● Attend on-site training and two workshops a year
What You Must Possess
● Experience in blog-post writing and copywriting (at least 2 years)
● Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism, English, development communication, mass communication, public relations, creative writing, international relations, marketing, or any other related field
● Experience in search engine optimization (SEO) and other digital marketing tools
● Excellent fact-checking and online research skills
● Familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style
