Job Description
We are looking for a creative Content Writer to join our marketing team and enhance our website with new blog posts, how-to guides, FAQs and marketing copy. Your words will inform and engage target audiences.
Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content groups and proofreading articles before publication
Deliver quality written content that appeals to our audiences, attract customers and boosts brand awareness
Engage the reader and motivate them to perform an action, such as buy a product or sign up to our database. You'll also write copy designed to inform and educate
Write clear marketing copy to promote our products, services and newsworthy subjects
Coordinate with the marketing team and graphic designer to illustrate articles
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
Experience with keyword research and using current SEO principles to maximize reach will form the foundation of every task
Excellent writing ability, including the ability to write in different styles and to other people's direction
Has an eye for detail and eager to gain deeper insight into the subjects they'll be writing about
Good research and analytical skills to gain an accurate understanding of the subject
Knowledge of online content strategies
Bachelor's in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
Work location: Homebased (Should have a strong internet connection (minimum of 10 MBPS)
Work hours: 1:00PM to 10:00PM Manila time
