Improve various types of content for the Health & Benefits - North America line of business, including PowerPoint slides, presentation hand-outs, infographics, sales proposal content
Responsibilities and Duties:
Capture all glaring errors in the documents, from layout and formatting, to hyperlinks, as per client editorial style and branding standards
Review and revise content for accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax
Communicate and work with client teams to ensure that content is published within agreed delivery timelines
Ensure correct tone, voice, clarity, flow, and structure of content
Actively collaborate with other creatives, project managers, and internal clients to: clarify requirements; suggest alternative designs/formats as appropriate; offer design perspective to the materials; and help determine efficient ways to complete deliverables.
Self-regulate adherence to project timelines and defined workflows, including standards and practices for communication, responsiveness, quality, and timeliness
Self-manage working files and folders for ongoing projects and completed work according to company standards
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong command of the English language - comfortable writing in U.S. English style
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
Basic skills or familiarity with graphic design and desktop publishing, including data visualization
Fast learner and voracious reader with interest in news and information about HR and business in the U.S. and Canada
Comfortable with reading highly technical materials and able to analyze trends and insights in light of real-world scenarios
Nice to have but not required: some familiarity with the North America (especially U.S.) healthcare industry and/or employee healthcare & benefits policies and practices (including insurance regulations)
Education and Experience:
Must be a Bachelor's degree holder
With at least 2 continuous years of experience in technical writing, corporate communications, or copy writing, preferably for business, consulting, or research-focused organizations
Highly familiar with creative process for developing PowerPoint presentations, technical reports, infographics, research papers, business articles
Willing to work on night shift (flexi with core hours of 8 PM to 5 AM), Monday to Friday
Able to work remotely, with own reliable internet connection and conducive space for work
