180 Marketing, a leading e-commerce SEO company, is currently looking for a CONTENT EDITOR to edit content and manage our team of outsourced writers.
 
This person in this role will oversee our team of outsourced writers and edit any submitted content. They will be responsible for ensuring the written content is proofread, edited, and returned to the Project Managers within the allotted timeframe. They may also be called up to write content on occasion, as necessary.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
Proofread and edit content from the writing team
Fact-check content before publishing or forwarding it to project managers or digital PR specialists
Communicate regularly with writers to provide information, feedback and answers to questions
Improve content SOPs and checklists as necessary
Manage internal workflow of writing projects
Assist with writing for time-sensitive assignments when necessary
Assist with hiring and onboarding writers / editors as needed
Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal English skills
Minimum of 2 years of copyediting or content editing experience
Background in SEO, digital marketing, or e-commerce marketing
Proven project management experience
Proven experience managing a team of writers
Ability to understand and strictly adhere to writing and brand guidelines
